This North Shore bride wanted
a pretty bridal look that played up to her eyes and gave some colour to her lips.

Her wedding hairstyle was soft and loose casual elegance that reflected her own personal style.

KEVIN MURPHY undress hair styling creme was great to use for this wedding hair look.

Start with hair damp with KM BODY BUILDER mousse and round brush to get high and body. Gather hair into a low pony tail. Then with the curling tongs curl a sections of the hair and pin and spray with KM session spray.
Lastly add bridal hair accessories.

For special occassions like wedding it's nice to finish off the wedding hairstyle with KM session spray, not only with it provide strength to any bridal hairstyle; it will also smell amazing without being overpowering.

Two wedding looks, one bride!

This was a gorgeous Indian bride i did the hair and makeup for in Auckland at the lovely Hilton hotel.

We really wanted to accentuate her natural beauty with glowing bridal makeup and glamourous wedding hair. I used NARS makeup and KEVIN MURPHY hair products for her
Wedding looks.

On the second day this lovely bride decided to have a traditional Indian wedding as well. Her Indian wedding makeup look was stronger than her traditional New Zealand style wedding makeup and hair look. Both bridal makeup and hairstyles worked very well with both of her wedding gowns.
simply stunning bride!!

Wedding hair and makeup done by
Stacy Lee Ghin in
West Auckland.

This bride originally hailed from London. She wanted a casual, intimate

wedding in nature. Waitakere's natural bush setting was the best venue for her.. The make up and hair had to reflect an easy, no fuss attitude but at the same time the bride needed to look glowingly gorgeous all day. I think she does! I used Kevin Murphy Aniti gravity, hair resort and finished off with session spray. The hair was soft and natural with staying power and shine.

Soft natural wedding makeup up and hair in muriwai.
These girls are glowing! Their makeup and hair preference was to keep it really natural and simple.
The bridal hair and makeup is looking stunning with all the bridal jewellery and bridal gowns! Gown was by talented Auckland wedding gown designer Anna Schimmel..
The bride's hair up i did looks great in this photo too.
There's me just finish off the bridal hair up-do with a touch of Kevin Murphy session spray for shine, hold and anti humidity protection.
Auckland brides demand the best! For wedding makeup, I use Christian Dior,
Lancome, Laura Mercier, Topshop, M.A.C, Yves Saint Laurent, Estee Lauder, Clinque, Chanel,
Smashbox, and L'oreal.
For bridal hair and bridal hair ups, I use Kevin Murphy, Redken, GHD, Argan oil (morrocan oil) L'oreal professional.
Beautiful wedding hair and makeup i did for a gorgeous bride in titirangi, west auckland!
Beautiful 1940's makeup and hair look i did for a wedding in West Auckland. This gorgeous bride had a wing-tip liner and false lashes and red lips in the style of Dita Von Teese.
I did this 1940's inspired bridal hair on the maid of honour. It look amazing on her. It was so nice to work with a bride who wanted some thing more creative.

Wow I'm so lucky to have done the bridal hair and makeup for the cover of New Zealand Weddings magazine. This bridal shoot was done at Mollies.. A fantastic place to have a classy Auckland wedding.. Nestled in Herne bay, this wedding makeup and hair was inspired by Louis Vuitton campaign ad. Slightly 50's theme its a great bridal makeup and hair look!

By far my favourite wedding editorial i had the good fortune of doing the hair and makeup...

the sublimely gorgeous photos done by Carolyn Haslett.
This was our second Auckland bride for our wedding shoot in Herne bay. The bridal makeup was soft muted warm tones with a slight matte finish.
Her bridal hair look is youthful, elegant, modern yet different from your typical Auckland bride. A good option to try out on your bridal trial!

I did the makeup and hair in Auckland for
Anna Schimmel's campaign.. in These dresses were so beautifully crafted, it's really couture..
Her bridal gowns are among the best you can find in Auckland.

These gorgeous shots were taken by fashion photographer
Carolyn Haslett..
She is a fabulous person to capture the special moments for your day!

All makeup and hair has been done by myself of course!

Hope you enjoy it, our brief was to be alittle more fashion forward as it was for FASHION QUARTERLY'S OCCASIONS magazine first issue! Our fantastic model Malin was from Switzerland! We shot this one in an Apple Orchard in the Watikeres ranges, Malin was incrediable!

i must have used a can of hairspray for this wedding shoot in West Auckland. The brief was to make it a high fashion bridal look, but also very clean and pretty. Very unique bridal hair!
i love this bridal hair look!! For the bridal makeup i also add more of blush on the apple of the cheek to give a soft flush look. We were in the middle of an apple orchard in Oratia! Imagine having a wedding in Oratia, in an apple orchard! That definately would be an original wedding venue than your typical Auckland wedding! Quel romantique... If you don't trip and fall over apples first.
My first bridal makeup and hair magazine article!! published by

New Zealand Weddings magazine! How exciting, with so much to say and so much product to play with.. This article actually took hours to write and the edit! Who knew there would be so much work involved!

The extreamly talented international photographer David Shields took these fabulous shots in all of 15mins!! Stunning results would you say?
